Outdoor
Salsa in Amsterdam (fantastic, but crowded).
Cafe
Sevilla in San Diego (a bit claustrophobic but fantastic
dancers).
Rumba
Latin Nightclub, Ottawa (hot, packed, wonderful. Ian especially
thanks the girl who did the splits while dancing freestyle with him
on a very crowded dancefloor - awesome!)
Salsa at the Supper Club in New York
(a mixture of "on 1" and "on 2" dancers).
Sophia's
and the Salsa Harbour Cruise in Boston (there's a very active
salsa scene in Boston).
Tendr in Prague (pretty quiet, but
a nice venue).
Empire, 16 Paseo de Recoletos, Madrid
(a wild place, great fun).
Azucar, near Atocha station in Madrid
(great for bachata, very high standard of dancing).
Tropical House, Calle Martín de los Heros,
Madrid (found this a bit odd really, but nice enough).
New Orleans Music Club, Lovag u. 5. Budapest
(lovely venue, cabaret/karaoke, great fun).
Club
Havana, Vienna (maybe we went on the wrong night, but this
is just the most unpleasant place we've ever been!).
SODA,
Berlin (obviously the top place for Salsa in Berlin and consequently
very very crowded and very very hot).
Pavillon, Volkspark Friedrichshain, Berlin
(probably only runs during the summer, but excellent music, room to
dance and some very good dancers).
Cache Latina, Calle Ripa 3, Bilbao
(just to the side of the Puente del Arenal. Small - just a cafe really
- but good music and good, friendly, dancers).
Sabor
Latino, Vester Voldgade 85, Copenhagen (a nice - although
not particularly big - club, with dancers of all levels. Dancing is
pure cuban).
Agua de Luna, 211 Calle Viladomat, Barcelona
(great place, and some good dancers, which seems to have salsa most
nights).
